Sital Subedi is a highly experienced and passionate traveller with a profound knowledge of trekking in the Himalayas. He has led several treks and supported clients and crew members on frequent occasions. Grew up in the remote part of Nepal, he spent his early ten years in the high hills of Karnali Province. He got an early taste of hiking up and down the valley. He was familiar with the people and their life in the remote part of Nepal, their culture, traditions, and day-to-day activities, which later goes deep in his veins as he grew up. He had countless unforgettable travel experiences during his early days in Karnali.

For the past 15 years, he is living in Kathmandu. He travelled to most parts of Nepal from east to west and still travelling. Once or twice a year, he loves to trek to a new place with his friends. Pioneer in trekking, he has a great sense of responsibility, a seasoned personality, and decision-making skills. He is constantly willing to take on additional duties to train new people, mentor them to grasp the organizational culture and drive forward the organization’s vision in a uniform way.

Bhupal Sangroula, Managing Director of Hit The Himalaya grew up in the busy and crowded city of Kathmandu. His passion for the tourism industry started when he began to hike around Kathmandu valley. After completing high school he started his bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management. During his college, he got a chance to explore many trekking trails in Nepal. There was a time when he was one of the youngest travellers to complete many trekking routes in Nepal. After graduation, he started working for trekking agencies as an itinerary designer. During his work, he got a chance to know the tourism industry of Nepal very well.

Bhupal believes the tourism sector of Nepal can boom well in future with the correct implementation of plans and policies. To explore and learn more, Bhupal took a degree in Hospitality Management from Canada. He lived in the Rocky Mountains of Canada for a few years to learn more about Tourism Industry. Later he added a photography career to his life and now he also does landscape photography. His passion and love for his job are very important to us in providing exceptional service to our adventure seekers.

Sushmita Luitel is the Tour and Trekking Guide leader of our company. She is a very energetic, friendly and experienced leader. Growing up just outside Kathmandu Valley, she started showing interest in the field of tourism. She started her bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management at one of the prestigious colleges Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kathmandu. While she was in college, she got many opportunities to explore Nepal closely.

She took trekking guide training from the same institute and after completing her bachelor, she took her tour guide training as well. Since then she has been working with different companies to acquire more experience. She has to lead many tours and trekking in Nepal. After all these years of experience, she is ready to help us grow our company with every bit of her expertise. We are glad to have such an energetic leader in our company.

According to ancient Hindu scripture the phrase “Atithi Devo Bhava” means “we regard our guest as a God,” . I was born in a multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic environment surrounded by the Himalayas, the city of temples. Being enclosed by the breathtaking Himalayan mountains and Nepal’s vibrant culture as a child, I quickly discovered a profound love for travel and exploration. To further develop my passion into a profession, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management at the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management. I worked in various travel agencies, airports, and hotels to understand the culture of the Tourism industry. It led to a sound and deep knowledge of the Tourism industry of Nepal and crafting a perfect travel itinerary for travellers all around the world.

Klara hails from the Czech Republic, a small country surrounded by Slovakia, Poland, Germany, and Austria. After high school, she started her bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management. Three years later, she continued her studies, pursuing a Master’s degree in a different field. After completing her studies, she decided to satiate her wanderlust and explore the world. As a mountain enthusiast, she chose Canada’s Rocky Mountains as her first destination. While there, she met Bhupal, and they became true friends.

Following her Canadian adventure, Klara’s passion for exploration led her to move to New Zealand. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, she didn’t stay there as long as planned and moved back to the Czech Republic, where she now works as a Marketing Specialist in a small IT company. When she heard that Buphal has started his travel agency in Nepal, she offered to help and came up with some marketing ideas.

Recently, Klara decided to take her passion to new heights by delving into climbing. She enjoys the challenge of pushing her limits and the sense of accomplishment that comes with reaching new heights.

Megan grew up in the prairies in central Canada and developed a love for travel at a young age. Embarking on a solo travel adventure after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, she backpacked around Europe and the United Kingdom which officially got her hooked on travelling. After experiencing a variety of different cultures and climates, Megan continued her travel experiences with visas allowing her to live and work in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Travel quickly became a predominant part of Megan’s life as she decided to pursue a career as a Travel Advisor to help others plan for the adventures they’ve always dreamed of. Upon moving to Banff, Canada, her love for hiking blossomed as she explored the Rocky Mountains while testing her boundaries of travelling into the backcountry on multi-day adventures. Megan now works in hospitality and the outdoor retail industry and continues to explore new places in Canada and beyond.
