Shivapuri Trekking

Shivapuri National Park is a perfect day hike near Kathmandu. This short hike is awesome to catch a glimpse of the Langtang Himalayan range and see the beautiful Kathmandu Valley from the top of Shivapuri Peak. Shivapuri National park was established in 2002 and is the ninth national park of Nepal covering 159 km square. Shivapuri is one of the major water resources for Kathmandu Valley.

Being home to many flora and fauna, this national park is a living paradise for many tourists. Almost 177 species of birds are spotted in this national park and many rare orchids are as well. Animals like leopards, bears, and monkeys, live here too. Marking 2732 M in elevation, Shivapuri is the second-highest hill around Kathmandu valley. If you want to enjoy a small camping trip, Shivapuri also offers many camping trips in designated areas. If you love observing, mountain ranges, this place is a must-visit area near Kathmandu valley. Mountains like Langtang-Lirung, Dorji Lhakpa, Ganesh Himal and many other peaks can be seen from here.

Shivapuri hike starts from a place called Muhanpani which is situated near Budhanilakantha and goes all the way to Nagi Gompa. Nagi Gompa is a very spiritual place where you can see many monks doing meditation. After hiking for a few hours, we will reach Shivapuri peak from where you can see all the majestic mountains smiling at you.

Deposit in advance

As per our company policy, you are required to pay 20% of the total trip cost for booking the trip. We will only start getting the thing set up for our clients once we receive the money and guarantee your spot. Our company will start preparing the product and services immediately for our client upon the confirmation of booking.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, certain charges will be applied to your refund.

• Less than 24 Hours:  50% of the overall cost.
