Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of trip by Company

In the case where the company themselves have to cancel the trip, you are entitled to get a full refund for what you paid. Cancellation of a trip could have various reasons. In case of natural disasters, flight cancellation, war, strikes, weather, government intervention, road conditions and so on we might have to cancel the trip.

However, we will try our best to give you alternative days/trips for you to decide on. If you are not interested in taking any alternatives, you will be fully refunded by our company. Please contact info@hitthehimalaya.com for your refund.

If you are wondering about your hotel Cancellation policy, make sure you contact us in advance as per our policy to get a full refund on your credit card. There will be no extra cost to do so. In case of delay might cost you some percentage of refund. Also, get in touch with the company that issued your credit card to ensure your refund if you pay through your credit card.

 

Cancellation form Client

Our clients have 100% right to cancel their trip. They might cancel the trip for various personal reasons. However, they have to inform the company well in advance and in written form to get their refund. Our company will write you back after receiving your request with all the refund information. To get a full refund, our client should inform us 30 days before the trip.

In case of delay, cancellation charges will be applied to your refund.

  • Before 30 days:          No charges
  • Less than 30 days:     20% of overall trip cost. (As mentioned on our website)

If you are already in Nepal for the trip and if you voluntarily decide not to take part in the trip, you are not entitled to receive any refund for what you paid. This applies to all the clients who have used or not used any of our services during the trip i.e. transportation, accommodation, food and other services.

 

Deposit in advance

As per our company policy, you are required to pay 20% of the total trip cost for booking the trip. We will only start getting things set up for our clients once we receive the money and guarantee your spot. Our company will start preparing the product and services immediately for our client upon the confirmation of booking. You can visit How to Pay to see the options for payment. You can pay us either through bank transfer through western union or wire transfer. If you are already in Nepal, you can directly pay us.
