Cancellation of trip by Company
In the case where the company themselves have to cancel the trip, you are entitled to get a full refund for what you paid. Cancellation of a trip could have various reasons. In case of natural disasters, flight cancellation, war, strikes, weather, government intervention, road conditions and so on we might have to cancel the trip.
However, we will try our best to give you alternative days/trips for you to decide on. If you are not interested in taking any alternatives, you will be fully refunded by our company. Please contact info@hitthehimalaya.com for your refund.
If you are wondering about your hotel Cancellation policy, make sure you contact us in advance as per our policy to get a full refund on your credit card. There will be no extra cost to do so. In case of delay might cost you some percentage of refund. Also, get in touch with the company that issued your credit card to ensure your refund if you pay through your credit card.
Cancellation form Client
Our clients have 100% right to cancel their trip. They might cancel the trip for various personal reasons. However, they have to inform the company well in advance and in written form to get their refund. Our company will write you back after receiving your request with all the refund information. To get a full refund, our client should inform us 30 days before the trip.
In case of delay, cancellation charges will be applied to your refund.
If you are already in Nepal for the trip and if you voluntarily decide not to take part in the trip, you are not entitled to receive any refund for what you paid. This applies to all the clients who have used or not used any of our services during the trip i.e. transportation, accommodation, food and other services.
Deposit in advance
As per our company policy, you are required to pay 20% of the total trip cost for booking the trip. We will only start getting things set up for our clients once we receive the money and guarantee your spot. You can pay us either online through a credit card or bank transfer through western union or wire transfer.
Travel Insurance and Injury
In every adventurous Journey, there is a potential risk associated. The pleasing beauty of the Nepalese landscape also comes with some risks. Therefore, we would highly recommend you get your travel insurance before undertaking the journey. There are plenty of insurance options you can buy online from anywhere in the world. If you have no travel insurance and want to buy some in Nepal, many insurance companies can help you get one. Especially, when you are hiking in the highland of Nepal, there is a high chance of getting altitude sickness and getting injured on the route. We would highly encourage you to buy travel insurance that will cover your helicopter rescue from the Himalayas. Due to the lack of transportation access in the mountains of Nepal, the only fastest way of evacuating is a Helicopter. In case of your injuries, health problems and any other stress-related problem, travel insurance would be a great idea.
Delay in flight
Mountain weather and climate are never predictable, especially in Nepal. Due to such conditions, the domestic flight might get cancelled or they might have to undertake a different route. In that case, our company is fully responsible for your comfort and safety. Hit The Himalayas will cover all your lodging and flooding in the city you are departing from. However, we are not responsible for your expenses if your return flight gets delayed. In addition, we would highly encourage you to make sure you have enough time between your trip and your departure from Nepal to avoid possible flight miss.
